DESCRIPTION:The Wickford Art Association is celebrating the 50th Annivers
 ary of its Annual Wickford Art  Festival this weekend in historic Wickfo
 rd Village at Main and Brown  Streets.\nAs in years past the Art Festiva
 l is a free event and is open to all. The event features more than two h
 undred artists and their pieces  of original works on display including 
 fine art&nbsp\;&amp\; hand pulled  prints\, photography\, and three-dime
 nsional\, non-funtional sculpture.  There will also be food prepared by 
 local church and civic groups as  well as entertainment along the Festiv
 al route.\nThe Wickford Art Association\, a non-profit group of more tha
 n 400  artists and individuals who are passionate about fine art\, is th
 e  producer of the Festival. This event supports the Association&rsquo\;
 s  scholarships to talented students interested in furthering their stud
 ies  in art as well as exhibits in their gallery throughout the year.\nF
