DESCRIPTION:The Autism Project offers a support group for grandparents of
  children  with Autism or Asperger Syndrome. This program educates  gran
 dparents on the characteristics of the disorder and how their  grandchil
 dren perceive and relate to the world around them.&nbsp\;It also  teache
 s participants how to assist their children and families to raise  and i
 nteract with their grandchildren.\nThe Grandparents Support Group will  
 meet the second Monday of every month from 9:30-11:30 a.m. at the Autism
   Project\, 1516 Atwood Ave\, Johnston\, RI 02919. &nbsp\;Groups do not 
 meet in July and August.\nEvent dates and times are subject to change.&n
