More About Sarah Dyer Barnes Elementary School
Located just off Greenville Avenue at George Waterman Road, Barnes Elementary replaced the earlier Lincoln School in 1953. The school's namesake was Johnston's first superintendent of schools. Following the 2009 school year, former Principal Bernard DiLullo was appointed to the position of Superintendent of Schools in Johnston. Barnes is one of three Feinstein Leadership Schools in the town.
