2012 Feast and Festival at the Church of St. Rocco

The Church of St. Rocco will hold its 2012 Annual Feast and Festival Thursday, August 16 through Sunday, August 19 on the Church grounds in Johnston.

Hours for the Feast are as follows:

Thursday, August 16: 6 p.m. - 10:30 p.m.
Friday, August 17 : 6 p.m. - 10:30 p.m.
Saturday, August 18 : 6 p.m. - 10:30 p.m. 
Sunday, August 19: 1 p.m.- 10:00 p.m. 

The event will feature food and refreshments, games, rides for children and adults, and entertainment.

The entertainment schedule for the Feast includes:

Thursday, August 16: Disc Jockey Ray Arruda

Friday, August 17: Live music by East Coast Rhythm

Saturday, August 18: Live music by "Gemini" with a fireworks display set to begin at approximately 10 p.m.

Sunday, August 19: 
1 p.m. - 2 p.m.: RI Veterans Band Concert
2 p.m. - 6 p.m.: Recorded music featuring local talent
6 p.m. - 10 p.m.: Live music with Reggie Centracchio Quintet.

For additional information about the Feast and Festival call the Church at 401-942-5203 Monday through Friday from  8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. or during the Feast from 6 p.m. - 10 p.m.

St. Rocco's Church on Atwood Avenue is a Catholic Church, currently led by Pastor Charles Zanoni, that has been open since 1903. The church holds services every day at 7am and 9am as well as other times that are listed on the schedule. The church also has a garden on its right side called the St. Francis Garden which holds bricks with dedications engraved on them.
