What Did You Think of Mitt Romney and the Republican Convention?

Did the Republican nominee's speech convince you to vote for him in November?

Former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney accepted the Republican nomination for President of the United States on Thursday night.

Romney gave a speech that included a more personal view of his life, as well as focusing on adding jobs, criticizing President Obama’s policies, saying he would repeal Obamacare, and promoting his business background.

Romney did not discuss his experience as governor of Massachusetts during the nationally-televised speech.

Okay, Johnston readers — we want to hear from you:

What did you think of the former governor’s speech? What did you think of the convention? Were you swayed in either direction after watching the proceedings from Tampa? From his experience as governor of the Commonwealth, are you more less likely to vote for Romney?

Let us know in the comment section below.

Everything about it personified the truth which was a breath of fresh air indeed. I was so glad to see Clint Eastwood in which I couldn’t believe how funny he was. His presentation I have to assume was a reflection of his distain for what the Democratic Party has become and all the nonsense that has been coming out of our “blowhard” Vice President and others especially in the mainstream media, Proud Republican Mayoral Candidate.

I found it funny that in Eastwood`s movies he shoots the RobberBarons and the gunslingers they hire to oppress the poor Farmers or shop keepers. Now Clint is speaking for the RobberBarons.

Hi Joe, the real issue here is Clint is standing up for the oppressed taxpayers and their right to pursue the American Dream that will enable them to give their children a better life than that which they may have had to endure. The Robber Barons in this reality are the various unions who have rode into our cities and towns who have pillaged our coffers in which municipalities all across our country are going bankrupt as ours will if we don‘t stand up to them, but you know this already. As for Catherine her statement was absolutely elitist to say the least, Republican Mayoral Candidate
