The Johnston Senior Center will start 2013 off with a new walking program.

 

Does your New Year's resolution involve losing weight and shedding some pounds? 

The Johnston Senior Center wants to help start your New Year's resolution off right! 

Join the folks at the Johnston Senior Center every Monday, Wednesday and Friday morning at 9 a.m. and Walk Away the Pounds

The tri-weekly event features Leslie Sansone’s indoor walking program. The JSC's Wellness Center television and a pair of comfortable walking shoes is all you will need to start walking - 1, 2, 3, or more miles.

There is no fancy equipment or complicated steps involved. Just Leslie's video as she leads you on a total-body conditioning walk.

This program is safe for all ages and fitness levels, doesn’t place stress on your joints and ligaments, and is very convenient for almost anyone's schedule and lifestyle.
