[VIDEO] Why Is Central Avenue Shut Down?
Drivers looking to use Central Avenue as a cut-through from Atwood Avenue to Reservoir Avenue will need to find detours — at least from 7 am to 4 pm on weekdays.
With work continuing on Central Avenue to install a new sewer line as part of a $4 million project by Rhode Island Resource Recovery Corporation, restrictions on through-traffic will remain in place for at least the next four to six weeks.
