The Johnston mayor went to Providence Superior Court on Dec. 14 to formally file the town's lawsuit against Rhode Island Resource Recovery and Broadrock Renewables.

The accompanying video shows Johnston Mayor Joseph Polisena visitng Providence County Superior Court on Dec. 14 to file the town's lawsuit against Rhode Island Resource Recovery Corporation and Broadrock Renewables, two companies located at the Central Landfill.
Polisena announced plans for the lawsuit at a press conference last week, and after filing the suit yesterday, spoke with reporters on the steps of the courthouse about the town's concerns.
