U.S. Rep. James Langevin (D-RI) said he feels "all candidates should be affored the opportunity to debate," in response to a question about Independent Abel Collins's call for a place in the upcoming Dist. 2 Congressional debate.

Langevin spoke with Patch following the announcement of a key endorsement at the Johnston Senior Center on Oct. 5.

JohnstonPatch also received a Letter to the Editor from North Kingstown resident Patrick Dolan, saying he supports allowing Collins to debate Langevin and Republican candidate Michael Riley.
