Johnston native Angelo Marinosci discusses a new installation, his advice to young artists, and his work on a mural for St. Vartanantz Armenian Apostolic Church.

In the accompanying video, artist and Johnston native Angelo Marinosci Jr. speaks about completing an art installation that includes 50 separate pieces — many of which were recently on display at The Hope Gallery in Bristol and Gallery Z in Providence — and provides advice to younger artists.

At the end of the video is a brief audio clip and slideshow where Marinosci, who graduated from Johnston High School in 1965 and currently lives in Warren, speaks about how he and his five-year-old son, Arcangelo, helped St. Vartanantz Armenian Apolstolic Church with its new mural depicting the church's patron, St. Vartan, at the Battle of Avarayr.

I've been invited to my son, Arcangelo's, kindergarten class to read and perform for his class as well as the other Kindergarten class there at James Oldham Elementary School in Riverside, Rhode island. I'm quite pleased with the invitation.
