Video: Decorating Trees At Memorial Park
Students from Winsor Hill and Brown Avenue Schools visited Memorial Park on Dec. 8 to decorate trees in advance of today's Holiday Festival.

Today from noon to 3 p.m., the Johnston Parks and Recreation Department is scheduled to host the town's annual Holiday Festival at Memorial Park, including hay rides from noon to 2, food and refreshments, visits from Santa, and student crafts for sale.
On Dec. 8, local students went to the park to decorate the trees set up for each school, which are sure to be a centerpiece to today's event.
Winsor Hill and Brown Avenue School students were the first two groups to arrive on the chilly morning, with each group bringing their own kinds of ornaments to place on their school's tree.
