Cherry Hill Manor brought a little London home to Johnston on Friday, July 27, with a celebration of the start of the 2012 Olympics.
Lt. Gov. Elizabeth Roberts and Mayor Joseph Polisena led a procession of Cherry Hill staffers and residents from the Johnston Police Department, bearing the American flag, a symbolic Olympic torch, and a banner commemorating the event.
The accompanying video includes scenes from the walk, as well as excerpts of Lt. Gov. Roberts and Mayor Polisena addressing the seniors, and Activities Director Cheryl Perry describing the work that went into the event.
