Thelma G. (Ayers) Paquin

The Johnston resident passed away on Sept. 26, 2012.

 

 

Thelma G. (Ayers) Paquin, 88, of  Johnston, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2012 at Hopkins Manor, North Providence. Thelma was the beloved wife of the late George R. Paquin.

Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Everett and Frances (McLaren) Ayers. Thelma was a bookkeeper for the former Beck Beauty Supply Company of Warwick for over 30 years before her retirement. She enjoyed spending time with her family, and was an avid moviegoer.

She is survived by her loving daughter, Frances E. Petrocchi and her husband Ralph of Johnston; and was the mother of the late William I. Paquin, Susan M. Paquin, and Peter M. Paquin. Thelma was the mother-in-law of Karen A. Paquin of Johnston. She was the cherished grandmother of eight and the great-grandmother of four. Thelma was the sister of Frances A. Smith of East Greenwich, and the late Everett Ayers Jr. and Shirley Pointek. She also leaves several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday at 10 am in Holy Cross Church, 645 Hartford Ave., Providence. Interment will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
