State Trooper Log: Family Court Scofflaw, DUI Arrest In Johnston

Scituate Barracks: Troopers arrest Johnston man for DUI on Rte. 6
At 1:08 a.m. Jan. 28, State troopers arrested Thomas E. Viola, 26, of 63 Roger Williams Drive, Johnston, for driving under the influence, BAC unknown, and refusal to submit to a chemical test.
Troopers pulled Viola over about 1 a.m. pon Jan. 28 on Rte. 6 in Johnston. The subject was transported to State Police Headquarters, processed and released to the custody of a family member after posting bail with a justice of the peace.
Scituate Barracks: Troopers arrest man for failing to appear for non-support hearing
At 12:52 p.m., Jan. 28 Troopers arrested Shane J. Corriveau, 35, of 5 Elm Court, Smithfield, for a Rhode Island Family Court Reciprocal Body Attachment for Failure to Appear-Non Support.
The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Esmond Street in Smithfield. Corriveau was transported to State Police Headquarters where he was processed and later turned over to the Adult Correctional Institution.
