Two Johnston men face charges after Rhode Island State troopers reported finding them fighting on the shoulder of I-95 North.

Officers from the Lincoln Woods Barracks charged Michael W. Harrington, 25, of 4 Serrel Sweet Road, and Derek Aitchison, 29, of 15 Colombus Ave., with one misdemeanor count each of assault and disorderly conduct following an apparent fight at about 2:40 am Sunday.

According to online reports, troopers presented the two men for arraignment later Sunday morning. They were released on personal recognizance until a court hearing to be scheduled.
