Johnston High School stayed at number 5 in the latest Rhode Island High School Football Media Poll following a 26-6 victory on the road at Coventry on Oct. 5.
Evan Hopson caught a 20-yard TD pass from Michael Caparco, and three Panthers scored rushing touchdowns, on the way to Johnston's fifth straight win, the Providence Journal reported.
So far this year, Johnston has outscored its opposition 173-18 on the way to a one-game lead in Division II-A.
