NBC10: Providence Man Killed at Johnston Work Site
Leonardo Estrada, 23, of Providence, apparently died after hitting a live electrical wire with a tree trimmer.
A Providence man was apparently killed this afternoon after hitting a live electrical wire with equipment he was using to trim a tree, NBC10 reported.
The television station quoted Johnston Police as identifying the victim as Leonardo Estrada, 23, of Providence.
Estrada was working on Country View Drive just after noon when he apparently touched a wire carrying 12,500 volts, the station noted.
