Mohr Library Gets In The Valentine's Spirit

From movies to duct tape roses, the local library has events for the grade 6 through 12 crowd to celebrate Valentine's Day.

Marian J. Mohr Library, 1 Memorial Ave., is set to host a few events in honor of Valentine's Day on Feb. 14.

The fun starts tomorrow at 2:30 p.m. with a duct tape rose craft for students in grades 6 through 12. Is there anything duct tape can't do?

And on the "day of love" next Tuesday, Mohr hosts two movies for sixth- through twelfth-graders:

  • Sixteen Candles (yes, Gen-Xers, the one with Molly Ringwald) at 2:30 p.m., with snacks and a conversation heart craft;
  • Valentine’s Day, a 2010 film about people in Los Angeles trying to find love, at 6 p.m.
