Dinner: Tonight starting at 5, the North Central Chamber of Commerce hosts its Annual Dinner out at Crystal Lake Golf Course in Burrillville. Cocktails and mini-expo [JohnstonPatch will be there!] kick off the night; dinner, awards, and Jim Hummel to follow.

Landfill: There's now a federal probe underway into the shady-looking deals at the Central Landfill that led to a wholesale replacement of the Rhode Island Resource Recovery Corporation's board of directors, according to ABC6.
