After a fairly late night posting Tweets and Facebook updates from Tuesday's voting, we posted a wrap-up of the results on Wednesday morning that hit the top of the chart.
This story — about a Johnston man claiming he had the right to "a free one" for helping the police find the accused samurai sword attacker — was also the second most-read story on Wednesday, before racking up more hits on Thursday.
Friday's top story featured two North Providence women — who already have extensive prior criminal records — facing larceny and conspiracy charges after Johnston Police reported finding them in possession of nail polish, deli meats, and Spongebob Squarepants party plates. A CVS employee reported the makeup theft, and officers reported that one of the women admitted to taking the lunch meat and paper plates from Stop & Shop.
