Bank Members Can Visit Local Museums Free

Bank of America and Merrill Lynch are sponsoring free museum admission to bank cardholders today and tomorrow.

This weekend, Bank of America (which has a local branch at 1491 Atwood Ave.) and Merrill Lynch are sponsoring "Museums On Us," which allows bank cardholders to visit museums in Rhode Island for free, including the Providence Children's Museum, Rhode Island School of Design Museum, and the Museum of Work and Culture in Woonsocket.

Under the program, one free admission will be given to the cardholder (with valid ID) for general admission; excludes fundraising events, special exhibitions and ticketed shows.

Museums on Us includes 154 cultural institutions in 91 cities across the country, according to a Bank of Anerica press release.
